Lorena Soriano
With not-so-distant-future endeavors of lunar and Mars human exploration, space tourism on the Moon, and colonies on Mars I’m helping to identify what sustainability factors space companies should consider for their sustainability strategy.
Since 2020 I’ve been in corporate sustainability helping AI and emerging tech companies add a sustainability lens to their offering — all the way to embedding sustainability into their company’s DNA.
In 2023 I became a mom and began working 3-5 generations out with my sustainability work. Understanding that my son’s generation may be the first to live and work in space I pivoted to corporate space sustainability and am bringing all my lessons learned from the 4th Industrial Revolution to the New Space Economy.
When I’m not working on or talking about sustainability, I’m most likely exploring neighborhoods in Seattle, climbing plastic rocks, hiking trails in the PNW or visiting one of the many Seattle parks.
